Caitlin Mabry is the founder and principal designer of Marley James Designs, a Baltimore based interior design studio serving residential clients across the region. A Baltimore native shaped by years living in Boston and New York City, she brings a broader, cosmopolitan design perspective to her work. Known for creating spaces that feel both elevated and deeply personal, she approaches each project with a discerning eye, a deft mix of bespoke and vintage finds, and an instinct for building a room around one defining, irreplaceable element.
She works with clients across every stage of life, from young families to empty nesters, meeting each one where they are and designing spaces that truly reflect how they live. As a mother of three, she knows firsthand that livability and good design can, and should, coexist. Creating interiors that are refined without being precious, layered without being overdone, and built to hold up to real life through the thoughtful use of high performance fabrics, durable materials, and smart, considered choices at every price point.
Before launching Marley James Designs, Caitlin spent 15 years building a successful career in medical sales, an experience that sharpened her instinct for earning clients’ trust and navigating high-stakes decisions. When she made the decision to pursue her passion for design, she brought every bit of that experience with her.
An avid reader and passionate traveler, she draws constant inspiration from the places she visits and the stories she encounters along the way. She lives in the suburbs of Baltimore with her three children and their dog, Bogey.
